I'm Henry I'm a personal trainer based in liverpool delivering coaching and fitness programs to help people of all levels reach their physical goals.
I am Ninja Warrior UK semi-finalist and a former international Taekwondo fighter; I'm a 3 time British champion and competed all over the world winning a number of international medals including a Commonwealth bronze medal and a number of Olympic ranking competition medals. Unfortunately I only just missed out on selection for the 2016 Olympic games in Rio and retired shortly after.
To compete at these high levels I do a huge amount of physical of training and people always ask me how I got into the shape I'm in and if I could tell them how to improve their own shape. I have to be honest with them and tell them that there is no easy way, you have to work hard and live a healthy lifestyle, most people don't want to hear that! Some people however are willing to put in the hard work and make the lifestyle changes to improve their lives. A few years ago I started coaching some friends in the gym and advising them on their nutrition and exercise programs and as I started seeing the results I very quickly found out that I had a passion for helping people better themselves and open up their potential.
I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do, so I started taking on some clients to earn some extra money and start building HC:FIT into a means to take people to the top of their potential. Since my appearance on Ninja Warrior ignited my new passion for another type of training I've built my own training center combining all of my passions for fitness, martial arts and ninja training (functional fitness training) which gives me a base and a platform to train people in the best way possible for them making training more fun and more effective.
It's hard to describe the feeling you get when you see the figure you want to see in the mirror, look at the scales and smile, set a personal best, win an event, or just feel fitter, stronger and healthier. Helping people get that feeling really drives me, that's why I dedicate so much time and effort to studying exercise physiology and nutrition so I can deliver specific individualised training to give good sustainable results and quickly help people get to where they want to be.
I'm friendly, hard working, and as I always say, I don't believe in changing people, everyone is great in their own way. I believe in making people the best version of themselves!
